We Built a Website, CRM, and Client Portal in Under a Week

Three fully integrated systems:

1. Marketing Website — A Next.js site with a blog, case studies, service pages, SEO optimization, and a contact flow. Not a WordPress template. A custom-built, fast-loading site designed to convert visitors into booked calls.

2. Custom CRM — 60+ files, 30 API routes, AI-powered lead scoring, pipeline management, and automated follow-ups. Built on Supabase with a clean dashboard that shows exactly what matters — no feature bloat.

3. Client Portal — A secure space where clients log in, view project progress, access deliverables, and communicate with our team. No more digging through email threads or shared Google Drives.

All three talk to each other. A lead comes in through the website, gets tracked in the CRM, and once they become a client, they get portal access automatically.

How Claude Code Made This Possible

We didn't write every line by hand. That would've taken months.

Instead, we wrote detailed specification prompts — covering database schemas, feature requirements, UI structure, and business logic — and fed them to Claude Code. The AI generated the initial codebase, and we refined from there.

Here's what the workflow actually looks like:

1. Spec it out. We write a detailed prompt describing exactly what we need — tables, routes, components, business rules.
2. Generate. Claude Code builds the first pass. For the CRM alone, that was 46 files in one shot.
3. Review and refine. We test, adjust, and prompt again for edge cases and advanced features.
4. Deploy. Push to production. Real users, real data.
