Overview

FamilyCents is a family finance app for K-12 families where kids actually manage money — earning, saving, and making spending decisions — while parents guide from their own dashboard instead of handing over cash and hoping.

The Problem

Kids graduate without ever practicing money decisions. Allowance gets handed over and disappears, savings goals live in a parent's head, and the first real budget a kid touches is their own bank account at 18.

The Solution

Give kids a real (parent-supervised) money system: they track what they earn, set savings goals, and decide what to spend — and the app makes the tradeoffs visible. Parents see everything from their side and use real moments to teach instead of lecture.
